Meth them became popular in the biker scene where it earned the nickname of "crank" because it was often smuggled in the crankcase of the motorcycles.

Most of the people consider marijuana a benign drug and don't think of the consequences of getting addicted to it. If you cannot accomplish anything in life because of your drug habit, it is high time that you consider rehabilitation seriously.

Marijuana actually creates a psychological addiction rather than a physical one. You may suffer from anxiety and depression because of your addiction to marijuana but will not suffer physical pain. Most of the rehab centers are equipped with the tools that you need to deal with stress or depression.

You can take a break from your regular lifestyle when you spend some time in a rehab center. Once you are in a quiet place, you can focus on finding solutions to your problems instead of letting stress overwhelm you. Also, being away from the friends who use marijuana and the people who supply them, will benefit you immensely.

Getting to know other people who are dealing with similar issues can also be helpful. You will meet new friends and learn about how they have got over their addictions etc. Most of the rehab centers offer classes and counseling services that would teach you new skills to manage stress without turning to drugs. These techniques will help you to adopt a new lifestyle once you are out of the rehab center.

Find a rehab center in your area and ask your friends and family to be with you during this difficult period of your life. You can definitely get over your drug habit with the help of your family and friends.

The Growth Of PCP Use

There are some people that may have never heard of PCP, let alone used it at some point. This is a drug that was very popular in the past and seemed to have fallen off of the grid for many years. However, studies are now showing that PCP use is back on the rise once again and it is actually starting to be used in higher numbers on a steady basis.

The common way of thinking was that PCP had been replaced by many of the newer party drugs and fell out of favor with those that were looking to get not only a quick high but a fairly reasonably priced one. Along with many drugs, this is one that can have a lot of dangerous side effects on the body and the mind. The more you learn about PCP and how many people are using it, you are going to find that this is a problem that should be looked upon and dealt with using a whole lot more diligence. After all, this is now a drug coming back into full swing, with the majority of people taking it ranging in age from 20 years old and younger.

Also known as Angel Dust in years gone by, PCP is a drug that is regaining popularity on the drug scene as well as the club circuit. When taken alone, introduced via another drug, or when something is laced with PCP, it is known to cause hallucinations, euphoria and various neurotoxic effects. Because of all of the cases in the past and now coming in again as statistics show, this is still by far one of the most dangerous forms of hallucinogens that are being taken by our youth today.

Because PCP is fairly cheap to manufacture and distribute, it is easy to see why it is coming back with a vengeance. If you or anyone that you know is taking PCP, it is important to seek treatment if necessary.
