Among the most addictive and dangerous drugs plaguing the modern world is methamphetamine. This harmful drug is made in meth labs in remote locations due to the hideous smell that is emitted during the creation process. Various chemicals are mixed together to create a synthetic speed. This drug, commonly called meth or crystal, quickly gets people hooked on the high experienced through use.
Meth can be snorted, smoked or injected. All methods have the same destructive force when put in the human body. It causes an elevated heart rate and increased paranoia. Users will often begin to grind their teeth or move in a jerky manner as the drug runs through their body. Though the user may believe it simply gives them an extra boost of energy, it actually damages the heart and entire circulatory system. Additionally, it does brain damage, some of which is irreversible.
Those who are addicted to meth fall into a rapid state of decline as the drug rots the cells of their body. Teeth become loose and fall out and heavy wrinkles appear after only a couple of years of intense use.
A person addicted to meth needs to seek treatment immediately. Getting medical attention during the withdrawal process is essential. Chemical detoxification can be very dangerous and they have the right tools and medication to help the addict live through the process. Afterwards, the addict can begin to learn about addiction and how to avoid relapse.

Do not allow this chemical to use up another precious day of your life. Once you make the call, you will be glad you decided to change your life.

The Truth About Meth, Crystal, Crank, Methamphetamines
Unlike other classes of abused drugs, methamphetamines is actually approved for medical use for treating ADHD and obesity in adults and children. In small doses, it is available over the counter in nasal decongestants. Despite being a regulated drug, however, meth still finds its way into the black market to addicts.
There are many reasons why people would try out meth (or crystal or crank as it is also known). Probably the biggest reason why any would try this drug, or any other addictive drug, is the psychological effect. Methamphetamine users report an increase in their self-esteem, alertness, concentration, libido and euphoria. On the downside, however, it can also cause you to be very aggressive, experience hallucinations, experience psychosomatic disorders, hair pulling and skin picking. To demonstrate how powerful and dangerous this drug can be, if you search for methamphetamine on Google Images, you will see pictures of addicts with peeled off skin.
Meth users usually lose their teeth very quickly, prompting people to dub this condition as meth mouth. The American Dental Association, however, think it is not just the meth, but it is the combination of poor oral hygiene, having a dry mouth plus a host of other factors which cause meth mouth.
Meths are highly addictive, however, it is believed that you can decrease the drug's toxicity to the brain by taking Vitamin C before taking them. However, it still can not stop people from doing what they do when they are high on the drug. Meth comes in crystal form and users addicts smoke the burned meth.
Addiction to methamphetamines is one of the most difficult forms of addiction to treat. To treat post-withdrawal cravings, doctors usually prescribe baclofen, aripiprazole and bupropion but the success rate is really, really low.

Robotripping Equals Serious Danger

Kids will often be attracted to cough medicine when they want a quick and lasting high. All over the counter cough medicines contain an ingredient known to most as Dextromethorphan. This is a drug that can cause a serious high as well as serious damage to adolescents developing mind and body.
The trouble with this forum of abuse is that they are not just ingesting the DXM When they use this substance. They are also ingesting all the other ingredients in the cough medicine. This is what can really be deadly. If you overdose on the pain relieving substance that is put in cough medicines to reduce head aches it could result in death.
DXM overdoses might seem fun to a young person but it also comes with other serious consequences that might be considered not so fun by most. Let your children know that if they abuse this drug they will experience violent stomach cramps, uncontrollable vomiting and horrible constipation.
The only sure way to make sure that your child does not fall under the influence of this popular substance is to talk to them about the dangers of drug abuse. If you suspect your child might already be using this substance I can promise that there are treatment programs available in your area. We need to stop teen medicine abuse before it crushes more minds and takes more lives.
